Move or Extend?
It's a difficult question to answer and depends very much on your individual circumstances, but in a lot of cases and can be more cost effective to extend your current home than move to a larger one.Plans
The first step in extending your home is to draw up plans for the work being carried out. We can advise on what is feasible for your property and make recommendations on how to make the best use of the space you have. If required we can draw up the necessary plans and submit them to the council on your behalf.Planning Permission and Building Regulations
Depending on the size of extension you are looking for you may need planning permission from the local council before any work can proceed and in all cases you will need building regulations approval. We can liase with the council on your behalf throughout all stages of the project to ensure that all of the requirements are met.During the build
We realise that having an extension added to your home can be a traumatic time, but don't worry we'll do our best to keep the disruption to a minimum! When we start the build we'll stay on site until it's finished and make sure that everywhere is kept clean and tidy. We can also arrange all of the decoration for you so when we've finished you can make use of your new space straight away. What's the snag?
There hopefully won't be any - snagging that is! But to make sure, after the project's finished we'll come back after a few weeks to make sure you're entirely happy.
